Folken facts
The student society in Stavanger, or Folken, for short is the big, yellow building in Løkkeveien across Clarion Hotel. Folken provides various activities for students and is a place for recreation, entertainment, personal development and socialising.

Monday pub nights aren’t actually a very new Folken phenomenon. For many years Monday was the meeting day for Folken’s volunteer groups. Job lists were set up, orientation, coming attractions and worthwhile notes were exchanged, and afterwards there was beer in Akvariet!
